HONORING THE LIFE OF LONIE WEBB JR. Saturday, September 19 Derry Rod & Gun Club Pavilion & Lake 📋EVENT INFORMATION Lonie believed that life was meant to be lived—not watched from the sidelines. He loved fishing, campfires, good food, great friends, spontaneous adventures, and the simple joy of being surrounded by people he cared about. Rather than gathering for a traditional service, we invite you to spend the day celebrating the incredible life he lived. Together we'll share memories, laughter, stories, music, fishing, dinner, and a campfire as the sun sets—remembering the man who found happiness in the outdoors, helping others, and making every ordinary day feel like an adventure. 🕒SCHEDULE 1:00 PM - Arrival & Fellowship  2:00 PM - Celebration of Life Service 3:00 PM - Fishing, Music & Time Together 5:00 PM - Pot Luck Dinner Sunset - Lighting of the Bonfire Evening - Smores, Night Fishing, and Stories Around the Fire. Camping is welcome for anyone who would like to stay the night, and hotel recommendations are available for guests traveling from out of town. 📝RSVP Please RSVP by September 5 so we can plan food and camping accommodations. If your plans change after the RSVP deadline, please come anyway. Sharing this day together is far more important than an accurate headcount. 💡RECOMMENDATIONS Please dress comfortably. Bring your fishing pole if you'd like. Bring a lawn chair for the bonfire. Bring your favorite drinks and your favorite stories. Most importantly... Come ready to celebrate a life that was wonderfully full. 🏨 NEARBY HOTEL ACCOMODATIONS For guests traveling from out of town, the following hotels are located within approximately 10–20 minutes of the Derry Rod & Gun Club pavilion and lake. Hampton Inn & Suites Blairsville – Comfortable hotel offering complimentary hot breakfast, indoor pool, fitness center, free Wi-Fi, and free parking. Conveniently located approximately 10 minutes from the Derry Rod & Gun Club and adjacent to Chestnut Ridge Golf Resort.  SpringHill Suites by Marriott Pittsburgh Latrobe – Spacious all-suite hotel with complimentary breakfast, indoor pool, and fitness center. Hampton Inn Latrobe – Convenient location near Arnold Palmer Regional Airport with complimentary breakfast. ⛺ CAMPING For anyone wishing to stay and enjoy the evening around the bonfire, overnight camping is welcome at the Derry Rod & Gun Club Pavilion & Lake Property. Please let us know when you RSVP if you plan to camp so we can prepare accordingly. The club requires advance notice of camping. ❤️MESSAGE FROM ANGELA When Lonie and I reacquainted, we were discussing wedding plans and dreamed of growing old together. Now I am planning a celebration of life. Neither of us imagined this would be the path. But I have a feeling Lonie would smile knowing that instead of ending with sadness, the people he loved spent an entire day doing what he loved most: eating good food, casting fishing lines, having playful banter about football, laughing around a campfire, and telling stories until late into the night. I can't think of a more fitting way to say goodbye to a man whose life was short, but wonderfully full.
